I love winter colour palettes, when opulent, elegant colours come to play. White is almost a pre-requisite but to counter the coldness of white, winter is about playing with silvers and golds. I love the warmness of winter golds - a definite mood-booster in this cold weather!

Winter Golds

As much as we try to hide from the cold weather and the steady approach of the festive season, there is no denying that we are very. almost. there. Although an exciting time of friends and family, good food and (hopefully!) some time off from work, it also puts us in a bit of a panic when December finally comes. Does it feel warmer yet?

There's minimal and then there's too minimal. The key is to know when you are doing too little or too much when achieving the perfect minimal interior. We feel that the below images demonstrate a good balance of enough and not too much - there is something that the eye is drawn to, either a texture or a colour or an item... but the interior is still MINIMAL. On the other hand, there is enough interest that the interior does not appear cold or bland, either by being too white or lacking in warm lighting.
