At this magical time of celebrations I would like to share with you some inspirational pictures of Sacred Architecture.
Sacred architecture is a religious architectural practise concerned with the design and construction of places of worship and intentional spaces, such as churchesmosquessynagogues and templesSacred, religious and holy structures often evolved over centuries and were the largest buildings in the world, prior to the modern skyscraper. While the various styles employed in sacred architecture sometimes reflected trends in other structures, these styles also remained unique from the contemporary architecture used in other structures.

Boxing Day is a holiday celebrated in Britain, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and other Commonwealth countries. Boxing Day originated in the middle of the nineteenth century in England under Queen Victoria. Celebration includes spending time with your family and close friends with a lot of food, fun and presents. Boxing Day menu could include Turkey from the day before, served with potato vegetables and different trimming.

Boxing Day is called so because of the custom on that day for tradesmen to collect their Christmas boxes or gifts in return for good and reliable service. The tradition of celebrating Boxing Day includes giving money and gifts to charities or people in need.

Nowadays, Boxing Day is all about presents and shopping. While government buildings and small business are closed, the shopping malls are filled with people trying to get a bargain.

There is also an interesting Boxing Day charity event called The Boxing Day Dip. During this event people in fancy dress swim in the sea. Fancy dips are taking place in several places around Europe, but the largest is held by the Lions Club of Sunderland, England. Participants are expected to wear fancy dress and jump into the North Sea.

Have a Great Boxing Day ;)

Christmas is almost here :) This means - Presents! We all love to give and receive beautifully wrapped gifts. Today we are getting inspired by different ideas and gift wrapping techniques. I guess the main rule would sound like "Do not be afraid to experiment and combine different materials".

Being children we all dreamed about living in a whimsical home just like the ones we saw in our story books and Disney cartoons. Some people are actually decided to make their dreams come true and created great fairy tale looking interiors. Here are some examples to get inspired...
