Geometric Textiles from Beatrice Larkin
Another nice discovery from the last week. Beatrice Larkin is London based designer creating beautiful woven textiles for the home. Very soft, cozy and Scandinavian-style collection will work so well in Ardesia Design's interiors! ;)
From her website:
After graduating from the Royal College of Art in 2013, Beatrice Larkin established her label with the desire to create design-led textiles for the home.
A diverse mix of detailed CAD drawings, freehand sketches and manipulated weave structures all come together to generate her patterns. There is a softened geometry in these textiles that derives from an organic approach to clean modernist design.
Working from her London studio, she uses highly skilled mills and finishers in the UK to weave fabrics made from the softest merino and lambswool. Passionate about honest craftsmanship, her collections are woven in small runs with a focus on quality, texture and the individual characteristics of each piece of cloth.
